A Great Fire Department Field Trip!

We had a an awesome fun-filled 3s field trip to the Duvall Fire Station. The kids toured and learned about the fire fighters' living quarters, how their uniforms protect them from fires, and what different vehicles and equipment they have to save the day. As an extra special treat, many older siblings happened to have the day off and got to join us as well! Every kid got a chance to sit in the fire truck! Wish the grown ups got a turn too;)! Whee (oooo)!

The kids were so excited to sit in a real big red fire truck!

We got to explore not just a fire truck, but also this boat that is used to rescue people who need help on the Snoqualmie River!

Firefighter Andy suited up for us from head to toe, showing us what each layer of his uniform and equipment did. We learned so much!

We're so glad that big brothers and sisters got to join us on our trip! One of the great things about co-op is celebrating and sharing fun learning adventures with the family!
